Film Response

I really liked the style of the film before Lucas started talking. The 5 minutes of showing the pictures and with the music on looked and sounded pretty cool. The only bad thing about the film was is that I wasn't too sure what Lucas's point was in the video when he said, "we shouldn't fly in planes and drive in cars". I agree that its bad for the environment but he didn't give us an alternative to do instead for driving cars. Its not that people don't care about the environment, its that there isn't much we can do. We need cars to get around. I can't ride my bike to school it would take hours. I have to drive my car its more reliable.

    I am totally agree with you that we cannot go anywhere without a car and you can't around with your bike because you may need to go somewhere far away.However, we should have done something in order to avoid not to pollute our air like that because it may affect our life one day.

    I agree, even before they had cars they had to find ways to get around but nowadays we have so much more to do and cars are essential.

    It makes us see the need for alternatives: we HAVE to get to work and school. To me, we should have built a railway from Columbus to Cleveland long, long ago, or a new, light-rail type transit system. I would gladly ride it and I think many others feel the same. I WANT to drive my car and pollute less, but I have to balance my needs with my wants, just like we all do. Lucas is really not giving us a break, but I like him for that. He's almost demanding we try to think and act differently. Maybe that's what we need!

    I dont think he legitimately ment "dont fly or drive" i just think he ment that we have to find a more efficient way of doing those things

    I liked the video too it was pretty and had a nice use of photography! the music was cool too, and I think he just wanted to point out why we need aulternatives.

    even though that the pollutions is bad for the enviroment the video did not gave as any batter choise to live with outh cars and airplanes
